This course provides students with the knowledge and skills to work with Network Infrastructure, Active Directory and Application Infrastructure technologies in Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2. This course is intended for individuals who hold an MCSA or MCSE credential in Windows Server 2003 and wish to upgrade their skills to Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2. The course directly supports Exam 70-648, TS: Upgrading your MCSA on Windows Server 2003 to MCTS on Windows Server 2008 and Exam 70-649, TS: Upgrading your MCSE on Windows Server 2003 to MCTS on Windows Server 2008

Erforderliche Kenntnisse: Experience planning, implementing, managing, maintaining, and securing Windows Server 2000 or 2003, including Active Directory and Network Infrastructure server roles. Working knowledge of networking, for example, TCP/IP and Domain Name System (DNS). Experience installing, configuring, and administering Windows 2000 Server, Windows Server 2003, Windows® XP Professional, or Windows Vista®. MCSA on Windows Server 2003 or MCSE on Windows Server 2003 is recommended.
